Service Description

Lent—a sacred season when Christians around the world pause to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus and prepare their hearts for Easter. Like John the Baptist, who called for repentance and humility to prepare the way for Christ, Lent invites us to ready our hearts to truly appreciate Jesus’ death and celebrate His resurrection. Because His death was the greatest sacrifice ever made, many choose to fast during Lent—setting aside certain foods or behaviors as an act of devotion and surrender. As many of you know, within Ayurvedic tradition we cleanse twice a year—spring and fall. The spring cleanse is especially meaningful to me; it feels like spring cleaning for the body and soul. Over the years, I’ve combined this seasonal practice with Scripture, creating a Faith & Fasting Cleanse—a holistic approach that nurtures body, mind, and Spirit. What better time than Lent to embrace this practice in your own life? There is no single “right” way to fast. A true fast is not a fad diet—it is a spiritual discipline that deepens our understanding of nourishment and the connection between our thoughts, our bodies, and our faith. Like Daniel in Babylon, we can choose a God-centered way of eating that helps us thrive and fulfill His purposes. An Ayurvedic cleanse is an ancient practice that gently nourishes deep tissues while encouraging the body to release stored toxins. It resets digestion with seasonal foods and daily rhythms, supporting emotional balance, mental clarity, and immune health. Throughout Scripture, fasting prepared hearts and strengthened faith: • Moses – Spiritual revelation • Elijah – Strength and guidance • Daniel – Clarity and understanding • Esther – Courage and deliverance • Jesus – Victory over temptation When we support the body through intentional cleansing, we often experience greater clarity—in heart, mind, and physical well-being. We feel lighter, renewed, and more vibrant in our walk with Christ. This cleanse goes beyond physical renewal. Each day includes meditation on God’s Word, prayer, and gentle movement to support the body and quiet the mind. This is a donation-based program because I never want finances to stand in the way of spiritual growth and transformation. I will personally guide you through: • A four-day preparation phase • The main cleanse • A gentle reintroduction of foods We will meet daily, and you’ll have access to a private online community, recorded meditations, and a gentle move
